Harry Sheader
Level 3 MAG and Level 2 WAG
Harry is our head boys coach and has been an integral part of Wolds Gymnastics Club since he started training in pre-school classes aged 3. Following Harry’s move to the coaching team at 15 years old, he quickly progressed to becoming British Gymnastics Level II qualified at just 17 and taking full responsibility for coordination of the boys section at 18.
Harry coaches the boys Competition and Elite squads, with a strong ethos centred around structured training while ensuring that gymnasts have fun while learning.
Rach Wylie
Level 2 WAG
Rachael started gymnastics when she was 5, and has been part of the Wolds family ever since. She did her first coaching qualification aged 14 and qualified as Women’s Artistic level II by the time she was 18. Rachael has been our girls general Head Coach since she was 19 and is heavily involved in the general running of the club.
Georgia Barmby
Level 2 MAG
Georgia coaches both boy’s General and Competition squad classes, and having competed herself from a young age thrives on supporting young gymnasts becoming the best that they can be. Georgia now has her own children training at Wolds, and is thrilled to see them developing a love for the thing which she holds so close to her heart.
Georgia believes that the center of Wolds as a club is the passion that everyone shares for this amazing sport.
Zac Edeson
Level 1 MAG
Zac started training at Wolds when he was 8 years old. When he was 14 he began volunteer coaching and is now working towards his first official British Gymnastics qualification of Men’s Artistic Level 1. Zac’s favourite apparatus is rings and he enjoys passing on his knowledge to the younger gymnasts in our general boys classes.
Maddie Warkup
Level 1 General
Maddie has been training with Wolds since the age of 5 and in 2017 made the move to join our coaching team. She volunteered for three years, gaining experience and knowledge until she qualified as General Gymnastics Level I in 2020. Maddie is thriving in her new role as assistant coach and enjoys coaching both girls General and Competition classes.
Will Webster
Level 1 MAG
Will trained with Wolds for the majority of his childhood. He then progresses into coaching at the age of 15. Will is now working hard to build his experience as a coach and continue developing general, squad and performance gymnastics within the club.
Dawn Whiting
Level 3 General
Dawn is British Gymnastics qualified for General Gymnastics level III. She coaches the girls competition squad as well as leading our pre-school classes. Dawn joined our coaching staff following her daughter starting training in
Sophie Featherby
Level 2 WAG
Sophie is a huge lover for Gymnastics and acrobatics! She has trained gymnastics for a long time and joined our coaching teach a while back. She loves coaching just as much as she loves to train her own sport: aerial hoop.
Jo Thompson
Level 2 General
Jo is a qualified coach for General Gymnastics Level I and coaches the girls general classes. She is a keen lover of gymnastics and loves watching the kids progress in there classes week in week out.
Sami Young
Level 1 General
Sami has 2 children who have attended the club since pre-school age. She volunteered for two years to gain experience and knowledge until qualifying as a general level 1 gymnastics coach in 2020. Sami is now one of our dedicated pre-school coaches and loves to see how the children progress.
Rach Douglas
Level 1 General
Rach is an integral part of girls general classes! she is loved by all the children. She has a real passion for gymnastics which she has carried with her throughout her life. When she was a little girl she trained at Wolds Gymnastics Club before progressing onto her coaching qualification to keep her passion passing through the years.
Ellie Binnington
Level 1 General
Ellie joined the coaching team as a volunteer in 2019 and is currently working towards her Women’s Artistic Level 1 qualification. She is using her time to gain knowledge and skills, both through practical experience and mentoring from our more senior coaches. Her favorite part of working at Wolds is seeing the big smiles on the young gymnasts faces, when they manage to achieve a skill they have been working hard to master.
